Bhubaneswar: In one of the biggest recruitments ever, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released a recruitment notification for male and female candidates to fill up as many as 10768 assistant teacher posts in the state. As per a notification, the registration process began on March 15. Interested and eligible candidates should apply before the last date of application,i.e. April 16, 2018.

Educational Qualifications: A candidate should have completed his/her Graduation from any recognized university with B.Ed. For Computer Teacher Post, a candidate should be a Graduate in Science in Computer Application OR a Graduate in Computer Application OR Candidates with B.E./ B.Tech in Computer Science OR Graduate with A Level Course OR any other Equivalent Qualification & Candidates must have done B.Ed or any equivalent exam.
Age Limit: Applicants' age should be between 21 and 40 years as on July 1, 2018. However there is age relaxation for SC/ ST /OBC/PWD/ PH candidates as per Government norms.
Selection Process: The selection of candidates will be completely based on the written test and later an interview will be conducted.
Application Fee: For General and OBC candidates, the application fee will be Rs 100, where as for SC/ST candidates, the application fee is Rs 40. PH candidates have been exempted from payment of application fees.
The candidates can pay application fee through credit/debit card, net banking or through eChallan at Bank. The application fee must be submitted by April 12, 2018.
