Bhubaneswar: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has asked Universities to adopt India's national Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) through the SWAYAM platform for the benefit of the students.

Apart from this, the UGC has also allowed universities and well as colleges to offer up to 40 per cent of the syllabus of a programme in a semester online through the e-learning platform- Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM).
