Bhubaneswar/ New Delhi: In a good news for railway job aspirants who are yet to apply for the Assistant Loco Pilot or who have missed it, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has extended the application submission date.
Interested and eligible candidates were earlier able to apply online by March 5, 2018 but it has now been extended to March 31, 2018.
Earlier, RRB had released a notification for the recruitment of 26502 Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and Technician.

Age Limit
Candidates applying need to be between 18-28 years as on July 1, 2018. Meanwhile, age relaxation is admissible by 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for Pwd (UR), 13 years for PwD (OBC) and 15 years for PwD (SC/ ST) candidates.
Selection Process
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of a Common Computer Based Test (CBT), Aptitude Test and Document Verification.
Examination Fee
Candidates applying under general and OBC category will have to pay Rs 500 as exam fee while for the reserved categories, the fee is Rs 250. The payment must be made through online using internet banking or Debit/ Credit Cards or through offline by Challan in any branch of SBI/ Computerized Post Office Pay-In-Slip.
