The Tamil actress clarified on her Instagram account how an influencer had used AI to generate that video, which left her fans in shock.

Sharing her thoughts on this leaked video, Shruthi Narayanan made a strong point saying that currently, the situation is very tough not just for her but also for those who are very close to her. In her post, the actress wrote, “For you guys, spreading all these contents on me it’s just a joke and fun content. But for me and my close ones, this is a very hard situation for us. Especially for me, it is a very difficult time and it’s a difficult situation to handle."
According to the actress those who circulated such an AI-generated video of her have affected her life badly since she is also a girl. Shruthi Narayanan said, “I'm also a girl and I also have feelings and my close ones also have feelings and you guys just make it worse and worse. (sic)”
Shruthi urged that people should not spread such videos
In her post, the actress urged her followers and fans not to spread such leaked videos and to stop them from spreading like wildfire. Shruthi Narayanan even asked genuinely whether people would do the same if women related to them got trapped in such a situation.
The actress also pointed out the legal implications of spreading such news by saying, “Start being human. Sharing leaked videos, whether real or deepfake, is a criminal offense in India. Here are the legal provisions under which action can be taken.”
