Bhubaneswar: The Ministry of Human Resource Development (Department of Higher Education) has issued a notification for the Israel Government Scholarships 2021-22.
The last date for applying for four scholarships is March 29, 2021.
As per an official notification, the duration of two Israel Government scholarship is eight months to undertake research/ specialisation from the universities which are approved by the Israeli Council for Higher Education.
Similarly, two short term (summer school) scholarships are also being offered for students seeking to study Hebrew.
The Ministry of Education has invited applications for the following subjects:
Comparative study of religions (with specific reference to Judaism), Middle East Studies, Hebrew language and literature, History of the Jewish people, Agriculture, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Business Management, Mass Communication, Environment Studies and Chemistry.
Eligibility:
Candidates who have the letter of acceptance from the supervisor, Israeli university is the only eligibility to apply.
Age: Applicant must be under the age of 35 at the beginning of the academic year (October 1, 2021)
Qualification: The applicant must hold a Bachelor Degree at least in the relevant field by October 1, 2021.
The applicant should not have received any scholarship from the Israeli MEA in the past
