The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and University Grants Commission (UGC) on Thursday presented their stands before the Supreme Court on the plea seeking an extension of the college admission.
Presenting its side, CBSE informed the apex court that results of compartmental exams for class 12 will be declared by October 10.
Similarly, UGC said that its admission process will close by October 31 and it will give enough time for students to apply for University admissions.
Earlier, some students had filed a plea in SC seeking an extension of the deadline of August 31 for College admissions 2020-21 until the result of the CBSE compartment results are out.
