Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is currently accepting applications for the recruitment of 588 various vacancies in branches like Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication and Mechanical Engineering through Engineering Service Examination, 2018, including PH (LDCP & HI), on regular basis.
Meanwhile, the online application submission has already started from September 27. The last date to accept application is October 23 till 6 pm.
Age Limit
Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be 30 years as of 01-08-2018 or he/ she must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1988 and not later than 01-08-1997.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess degree in Engineering from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on Preliminary Examination, Main Examination & Personality Test.
Application Fee
Applicants are required to pay Rs 200 through the following modes. However, female/ SC/ ST/ PH candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
Meanwhile, the last date of fee payment (by cash) is October 22 and for online payment, October 23.
Other Important Dates
The Preliminary Exam (Objective Paper) will be held on January 1, 2018 while the Main Exam (Conventional Type Papers) will be conducted on July 1, 2018.
Similarly, the Personality Test/ Interview is likely to be between November and December 2018.
