CM Mohan Majhi meets LoP Naveen Patnaik at his residence, inquires about health

CM Mohan Majhi visited Naveen Patnaik at Naveen Niwas to inquire about his health post-hospitalisation, discussing for 10-15 minutes amid wishes from PM Modi and other leaders.

Chief Minister Mohan Majhi met Leader of Opposition (LoP) Naveen Patnaik at his residence, Naveen Niwas in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.

During the visit, CM Majhi inquired about Naveen's health and well-being. The BJD supremo had recently returned home after undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

As per reports, CM Majhi discussed Naveen's health condition for around 10-15 minutes.

Earlier on August 17, Naveen was admitted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar due to dehydration. He was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday following treatment.

During his hospitalisation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several eminent personalities wished him a speedy recovery. Several leaders across party lines, including Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling, Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan, and Odisha Congress president Bhakta Charan Das, had visited him. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had also expressed concern over his health.

Since his return to Naveen Niwas, several leaders and supporters from across party lines have been visiting him to inquire about his health and wish him a quick recovery.

Notably, Patnaik underwent a procedure for cervical arthritis on June 22, after his personal doctor, Dr Ramakant Panda, coordinated for the same.
