New Delhi: Ahead of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), the CBSE has issued admit card for those appearing in the exam, while candidates have been given the freedom to choose their exam centre. Keeping in mind the Covid pandemic threat, the Board has also issued necessary guidelines for the exam, which is to be strictly followed by the candidates.
The CTET is scheduled to be held on January 31, 2021 (Sunday) and in order to facilitate candidates and ensure their safety, exam centres have been increased from 112 cities to 135, informed Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
The Board has made elaborate arrangements for the safe conduct of examination at all the examination centres by implementing health guidelines prepared based on the instructions issued by the Central government.
GUIDELINES FOR CANDIDATES:
(a) To ensure that CTET examination is conducted safely ensuring the health and well being of all, candidates are permitted to carry following items:
- A pocket hand sanitizer (50ML) in transparent bottle.
- Face mask and hand gloves (only on hands)
- Transparent water bottle for personal use
- Admit Card and Identity Card i.e. Aadhar Card. Driver Lenience, Voter ID etc.
(b) Cover your nose and mouth with mask.
(c) Follow social distancing norms strictly.
(d) Carry your own drinking water.
(e) Do not exchange or loan articles inside the examination room.
(f) Use safe mode of transportation for coming to the examination centre and returning home.
(g) Follow all instructions displayed in examination centre and communicated to you.
(h) Try to avoid contact with unknown persons.
(i) Throw used tissue/ face mask, if any, into closed bins immediately after use.
(j) Maintain good hygiene in toilets during and after use
(k) Do not touch eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands
(l) Do not shake hands or hug at any cost while greeting
(m) Refrain yourselves from spitting in public places.
(n) You should be confident that you are not infected or having symptoms of Covid; seek advice on Covid-19 from your parents while coming/leaving for examination.
