Bhubaneswar: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank informed today that the CBSE board exams dates will be announced on December 31 at 6:00pm.
Pokhriyal tweeted, "Major announcements for students & parents! I will announce the date when the exams will commence for students appearing for #CBSE board exams in 2021.
Earlier the Minister had informed that the CBSE board exams in the year 2021 will be conducted after February. He further had informed that the exams will be conducted in offline mode.
During a live interaction with teachers on December 22, the Education Minister gave hints that CBSE board exams will not be postponed.
“The practical exams are usually held between January 1 and15 while the optional exams are conducted between February 15 and mid-March. However, taking into account the present situation, it doesn’t seem possible to conduct the exams till the end of February. We need more time to take a final call on the exam dates as to when will the exams can be conducted after February,” he stated.
