Youth found dead inside shop in Jajpur, murder suspected

Jajpur: A blood-soaked body of a youth was recovered from inside his shop located near Panikoili Chhak on NH-16 in the district today. The deceased has been identified as Rabindra Sahoo, a native of Jajpur.

The matter came to light after locals suspecting something fishy alerted police. As the shop was locked from outside, it is suspected that the Sahoo was murdered.

Panikoili Police reached the spot and recovered Sahoo's body which was lying in a pool of blood inside the shop.

As Sahoo was earlier arrested on charges of assaulting his wife, it is suspected that the murder could be the fallout of the ongoing family feud. However, further investigation into the matter is on, police said.
