In the latest incident, three armed miscreants allegedly looted cash and gold jewellery from the owner of a mobile shop and her employee during the wee hours in Bhubaneswar today.

According to sources, the woman along with her staff was riding a two-wheeler near Kargil road when the unidentified miscreants came on a bike and attacked the duo with sharp weapons and looted cash Rs 75, 000 and gold jewelleries from them.

Later, the victims were rescued in critical condition by the locals and admitted to Capital Hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.

"They followed us for a long time. Later, they came close and kicked us. After we fell off the scooty, they attacked us with sharp weapon and fled with the cash bag," said the employee.
