Rs 10 lakh looted from two-wheeler showroom in Odisha

Jharsuguda: Unidentified miscreants allegedly looted Rs 10 lakh and spare parts worth Rs 4 lakh from a two-wheeler showroom located near Beherapata on Bypass road in the Jharsuguda town.

Based on a complaint filed by the showroom’s owner, Rasit Kumar Modi at the BTM Police Station, cops reached the spot and launched an investigation.

The matter came to light after the cashier found the window of the showroom open at around 9 AM today.

“It seems the miscreants were well aware of the place as they took away the chest in which the cash was kept. Though there were 15 computers and other valuables in the showroom, all such property is intact,” said Modi adding that the showroom was closed on Saturday.
