Miscreants riding sports bike loot Rs 50 lakh from doctor

Cuttack: Three armed robbers riding a sports bike decamped with Rs 50 lakh after firing at the car of a Homeopathy doctor near Kapursingh on Cuttack-Dhenkanal road today.

As per reports, the Dhenkanal-based doctor BK Mohapatra was on his way from Bhubaneswar to Dhenkanal to strike a land deal when the robbers executed the crime.

As per reports, the miscreants intercepted the doctor’s car and looted the cash bag after firing at the front windshield.

“The miscreants first threw mud on the windshield and it forced Mohapatra’s driver to stop the car. Later, the miscreants fired at the car and looted the cash after terrorising the doctor,” said police sources.
