Mason hacked to death over suspected rivalry in Aska

Aska: A youth was brutally hacked to death in broad daylight by two unidentified miscreants near Sunamba Sahi Chhak in Ganjam district over suspected past rivalry. The deceased has been identified as Mitu Das, who worked as a mason.

According to reports, Mitu was attacked by the miscreants when he was working at a construction site.

Mitu was rushed to the nearest hospital by a group of local residents, but declared brought dead by the doctors.

Though the exact reason why Mitu was murdered is yet to be ascertained, police have started investigation into the incident which could be the fallout of some past enmity.
