Man killed by son over family feud in Keonjhar

Keonjhar: Police today detained a youth for allegedly killing his father over some family feud at Gohitangiri village under Pandapada police limits of Keonjhar district. The deceased has been identified as Rabi Nayak.

Sources said that accused Rasanand Nayak attacked his father with a stick after an altercation on Tuesday night. However, the matter came to light today after some villagers spotted Rabi's body lying in a pool of blood inside his house.

On getting information, police rushed to the village and sent the body for post mortem.

"We have detained two persons including accused Rasanand Nayak and further investigation in connection with the incident is on," said Keonjhar SDPO, Shriharsh Mishra.
