Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch today arrested two more personsin connection with the leopard skin racket which was recently busted in Deogarh.

The arrested persons have been identified as RashmiRanjan Swain, a warder of Rourkela jail and LikulaSahoo, a constable of IRB Battalion.

During interrogation, the STF found that the arrested personswere involved in the smuggling of leopard skin and 'Hanuman coin' in the area. Further probe into the matter is underway and the duo is being questioned, informed Rahul PR, Superintendent of Police Rahul, Crime Branch STF.

Earlier, seven persons including son of a retired official of Prisons department were arrested from Barkote area of Deogarh district in this regard. The STF team had also recovered a 7-feet long leopard skin from their possession.
