Gangster Tito’s Associate Nabbed By Crime Branch STF

Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force (STF) of Crime Branch today arrested gangster Tito’s key associate Sk Jabid alias Danga of Imambada in Kendrapara district on charges of kidnapping and thrashing a contractor in 2017.

As per reports, Jabid had allegedly kidnapped contractor Siba Prasad Parida from his office on September 9, 2017 after the latter refused to pay extortion. Later, the contractor was taken to gangster Tito’s hideout where he was brutally assaulted.

STF officials informed that Jabid has been booked under sections 364, 323, 324, 294, 506, 307, 386, 387, 34 and 25, 27 Arms Act of Indian Penal Code.

Danga was arrested this morning at around 9:30 AM and will be produced before the court today, sources said.
