Doctor's wife found dead inside house in Puri; murder suspected

Puri: A woman, identified as Sujata Sahu, wife of doctor Sanjeev Sahu was mysteriously found dead inside her house at the Railway quarters in Puri today. According to reports, Sujata was found lying in a pool of blood with injuries on her head.

Family members of Sujata alleged that she has been murdered. Sources said the attack might have taken place in between 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM and when her husband and son reached home, the house was locked from inside.

Family members said that Sujata died of excess bleeding and there were as many as three injury marks on her head.

After receiving information, the Sea Beach Police reached the spot and recovered the body before sending it for post mortem. A police official stated that the investigation is at a preliminary stage and Sujata had cranium fracture.

Meanwhile, police have sought the help of a scientific team, which reached the spot and carried out investigation.
