Divyang youth in cuffs for stealing bus

Balasore: A differently-abled youth was arrested by police on charges of stealing a bus in the city today.

Sources said the accused, believed to be a resident of Jagatsinghpur had stolen a private bus named Jhadeswar from the city bus stand late Monday night by using fake keys. While he tried to drive away the vehicle, he had a dispute with employees of a toll plaza near Shergarh after the latter asked him to pay toll fees.

"We  found that the bus did not have any helper or passengers. The driver too was not able to speak. When it appeared suspicious, we informed the cops," said a toll gate employee who informed the matter to the police.

During police interrogation, the youth confessed to have committed the theft using fake keys. Police has taken the accused into custody and investigation is underway.
