Bike-borne miscreants hurl bombs at villagers’ houses in Niali

Cuttack: Six unidentified miscreants hurled bombs at the houses of two people in Prasanga village under Niali police limits here late on Friday night.

According to sources, the incident occurred at around 2am when six bike-borne criminals hurled bombs at the villagers’ houses and managed to flee the spot soon after committing the crime. No loss of property has been reported.

Police reached the spot and have started investigating into the incident.

Meanwhile, the locals alleged that past enmity might by one of the causes of the attack.
