Army job aspirant from Bihar looted in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: An army job aspirant from Bihar was allegedly thrashed and looted by three bike-borne miscreants near the Bhubaneswar railway station on Thursday night.

According to sources, the youth was waiting at the Bhubaneswar railway station to return to Bihar after appearing the exam conducted here when the three miscreants allegedly thrashed the boy and snatched his bag containing original certificates and documents and fled the spot.

“They beat me and snatched my bag in which all my original certificates were there. I searched for them in the nearby area for almost four hours and later informed the police after seeing one of them roaming along the road,” said the youth.

The railway police have reportedly nabbed the accused and seized the bike used in the incident.

“We are interrogating the accused and other accused will also be nabbed soon and the stolen items will be recovered,” said a railway cop.
