Bargarh: A four-year-old boy was allegedly murdered by his cousin at Dhaurakhandi village in Bargarh district yesterday over family feud.

Family members of the boy alleged the deceased, identified as Sudeb Das was pushed into the well by his uncle's son, Gurudeb.

As per a complaint filed at the Sadar Police Station, Gurudeb and Sudeb had gone outside to attend nature's call late night yesterday. But when Sudeb did not return home, his parents searched for him everywhere and later filed an FIR.

Meanwhile, some villagers spotted Sudeb's body in a well located near a farmland this morning and informed his family.

Later police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it for postmortem.

Sadar police station Inspector In-charge (IIC), Mamta Naik said, "After receiving a missing report of a four-year-old boy yesterday night, we reached the spot and started investigation.
