Odisha CM Sanctions Additional Funds To 3 Dists For Covid Managament Bhubaneswar: In order to manage the rising Covid-19 situation, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday sanctioned additional funds for three districts-Puri, Sonepur and Sambalpur- from the chief Minister Relief Funds (CMRF). Puri district which had earlier received of Rs 14,59,74,408 from the government, was sanctioned additional further from CMRF. With the additional amount, Puri district now has received a total Rs 16,59,74,408  for Covid management. Similarly, the Chief Minister has also sanctioned Rs 1 Crore for Sonepur district, which was given 2,50,00,000 earlier. With Rs 1 crore additional funds, the total amount sanctioned to the district went up to 3,50,00,000 for Covid-19 management. Similarly, Sambalpur district received a total Rs 16,12,80,692 with additional fund of Rs 4,62,80,692 released today from the CMRF. The government had previously sanctioned Rs 11,50,00,000 for the district to spend on Covid management.
