India on Monday saw a decline in fresh Covid cases with 9,531 infections recorded in the past 24 hours against the previous day's 11,539 count, said the Union Health Ministry.

The death toll climbed to 5,27,253 with 47 fatalities which includes eight deaths reconciled by Kerala, the data updated at 8 am stated.

The findings, published in JAMA Network Open, showed that only 44 per cent of participants with newly positive SARS-CoV-2 antibodies had awareness of being infected with the virus. The majority (56 per cent) were unaware of any recent Covid-19 infection.
