[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] As many as 76,234 migrants, who were stranded in several other States due to the COVID19 lockdown, have returned to Odisha since May 3. According to sources, The number is expected to rise further as Centre is now running special trains to facilitate the return of stranded migrants to their respective States.
Odisha has made provisions for quarantine of migrants with over 14,000 temporary medical camps across the State at the panchayat level, informed Odisha government spokesperson.
As many as 31 COVID-19 patients on Tuesday recovered, taking the total recoveries to 116 in Odisha. As per health and family welfare department, all the 31 recoveries have been reported from Jajpur district.
Odisha government today decided to increase the bed capacity of COVID Care Centres as part of its strategy to combat COVID-19. As per decisions, the bed capacity of COVID Care Centres in six districts Ganjam, Balasore, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Jajpur & Bolangir will be increased.
