MCL Recruitment 2021: Vacancies Notified For 70 Medical Executives in Various Grades 

Bhubaneswar: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, under the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Medical Executives in various grades and specialty.

A total of 70 medical executives will be appointed by the MCL to engage them in various Coalfield Areas Hospitals and Dispensaries of MCL. The posts include 40 Senior Medical Specialist and Medical Specialist, 28 Senior Medical Officer (GDMO), and Senior Medical Officer (Dental).

For the posts of Senior Medical Special (E-4 Grade), the pay scale is Rs 70,000-2,00,000 while the pay scale is Rs 60,000-1,80,000 for others posts (E-3 Grade).

Vacancy Position:

 

The interested candidates will have to send the duly filled in application form as an advance copy in the format prescribed along with a self-attested copy of the testimonials through speed post to GM (P – Executive Establishment) At MCL HQ, Po –Jagruti Vihar, Burla, Sambalpur, Pin- 768020.

Applicants must superscribe the Post and Grade applied on the top of the envelope in Bold letters. The closing date for submission of the application is April 30.

For General Surgery, General Medicine & Pulmonary Medicine -minimum qualification is MBBS from recognized Institute/ College approved by Medical Council of India with recognized Post Graduate Degree/DNB with minimum 3 years post qualification experience.

For other Specialists, in addition to the above, Post Graduate Diploma is also considered as one of the minimum eligible qualifications.

Mode of Selection:

The mode of selection will be based on the personal interview as laid down in the “Policy for decentralized recruitment of Medical Executives at ClL/Subsidiary level” as available in CIL website.

Application Process Begins For UPSC Engineering Services Prelim Exam 2021

Bhubaneswar: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released notification for the Indian Engineering Services Examination 2021.

The UPSC Engineering Services Preliminary Exam 2021 will be held on July 18. The online application process has started and will continue till April 27 (6.00 PM), the notification read.
Though this notification, UPSC will fill around 215 vacancies under various services/ posts under Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

Vacancy Details:

The number of vacancies to be filled on the results of the examination is expected to be approximately 215 including 7 vacancies for the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) ( 03 vacancies for Locomotor Disability including Leprosy cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack victims and Muscular Dystrophy & 04 vacancies for Hard of Hearing).

The number of vacancies is liable to alteration. Reservations will be made for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Section(EWS) and Persons with Benchmark Disability Category in respect of vacancies as may be fixed by the Government of India.

How to apply:

– Candidates are required to apply Online only by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in

-Candidate should have details of one Photo ID Card viz. Aadhaar Card/Voter Card/PAN Card/Passport/Driving Licence/Any other Photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government. The details of this Photo ID Card will have to be provided by the candidate while filling up the online application form. This Photo ID Card will be used for all future referencing and the candidate is advised to carry this Photo ID Card while appearing for Examination/Personality Test.

-The eligible candidates shall be issued an e‐Admission Certificate three weeks before the commencement of the Examination.

-The e‐Admission Certificate will be made available in the UPSC website [www.upsc.gov.in] for downloading by candidates.

-No Admission Certificate will be sent by post. All the applicants are requested to provide valid & active e‐mail id while filling up online application form as the Commission may use electronic mode for contacting them.

Civil Services Exam Interview Dates Announced: UPSC To Pay Airfares Of Candidates

Bhubaneswar: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has decided to conduct the Personality Tests (interviews) of Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2020 from April 6, 2021.
Earlier, the results of the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2020 were announced by UPSC on March 23, 2021.

The e-Summon Letters of Personality Tests (Interviews) of the candidates will be made available shortly on the official UPSC website. No request for change in the date and time of the Personality Test (Interview) intimated to the candidates will be entertained, UPSC notification read.

Considering the current COVID 19 pandemic situation, the Competent Authority has decided to reimburse the lowest ‘to’ and ‘fro’ air fare for traveling by Air India or any other private Airlines to the outstation candidates for attending interviews/ PT boards subject to the following condition:-

– Opt for cheapest flight ticket under economy class among the airlines operating in the concerned sector immediately after downloading the e-summon letter;

– Book the air tickets either directly from the Airlines (Booking counters, websites) or through the travel agents authorized by Deptt. of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance viz. Ashoka Tours & Travels, Balmer & Lawrie and IRCTC only;

– Air Tickets booked through Private travel agents viz. MakeMyTrip, Yatra, Goibibo, Ease My Trip etc. will not be reimbursed;

– The nearest airport will be determined on the basis of the address given by the candidates in their Detailed Application Forms (DAFs).

– Bring hard copies of Air Tickets (To & fro journeys) showing the details of air fare along with Boarding Pass (For onward journey only) for reimbursement.

– Second/ Sleeper class train fare (Mail Express) will be reimbursed if the candidate perform their journey by Rail irrespective of Class in accordance with para 132 of service rule.

Candidates are instructed to strictly adhere to the above conditions while making their travel arrangements for attending the PT Boards of CSE 2020. It may be noted that in case of deviation from the above conditions the TA claims of the candidate may not be considered, the notification added.

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has issued a fresh notification for the recruitment of 92 Assistant Soil Conservation Officers in Class II (Group B) of Odisha Soil Conservation Service under the Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Department.

Interested candidates can apply for these posts by visiting the official website www.opsc.gov.in. The online application process will start on April 23 and continue till May 31.

The Assistant Soil Conservation Officer will carry a pay at Level-10 of the Pay Matrix under ORSP Rules, 2017, in consistent with the pre-revised scale of pay under PB-2—Rs 9,300—Rs 34,800 with grade pay of Rs 4,600 with usual Dearness and other allowances.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

A candidate must have possessed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture or Bachelor of Science Degree in Horticulture or Bachelor Degree in Agriculture Engineering or Bachelor of Science Degree in Forestry from any recognized University or Institutions.

VACANCY POSITION:

EXAMINATION FEE:

A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred) only. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe of Odisha and Persons with Disability (whose permanent disability is 40% and more) are exempted front payment of this fee.

The candidates are required to make Online payment of applicable Examination Fee(s) through OPSC portal using Debit Card/Credit Card /Net Banking facilities and other financial instruments enlisted in the Payment Page/Gateway of the Odisha Government Treasury Portal. The fee(s) paid shall neither be refunded under any circumstances nor can be adjusted or held in reserve for any other examination or recruitment.

METHOD OF SELECTION:

The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the Competitive Recruitment Examination (Written Test & Interview).

The Written Test shall comprise of two papers namely Paper — I & Paper -II together carrying 200 marks i.e. 100 marks for each paper which shall be of Multiple Choice (MCQ) Pattern.

The number of questions in each paper shall be 100 each carrying one mark

The duration of examination shall be one and half hour for each paper.

The Commission will short-list the candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number taking into consideration the marks obtained in the written test.

The qualifying marks of the written examination shall be decided by the Commission.

The Total marks for Interview/ Viva Voce Test shall be 25.

The details of the examination and syllabus is enclosed at Annexure — A.

PLACE OF EXAMINATION:

The written examination shall be held at Cuttack. It may also be held at Bhubaneswar/ Balasore/ Berhampur/ Sambalpur depending on the number of candidates from the respective zones. The candidates are to mention their choice of Examination Zone at appropriate place in the online application form.

South Asian University Recruitment: Apply For Teaching, Non-Teaching Posts Before April 30

Bhubaneswar: South Asian University (SAU), an international University focused on postgraduate teaching and research jointly established and funded by the eight SAARC countries, is looking for one outstanding, highly qualified and experienced faculty member and two non-teaching staff.

As per an official notification, citizens of the eight SAARC Member States are especially encouraged to apply for these positions. Selected candidates from countries other than India will be sponsored for a work visa in India.

Details:

Professor (Economics) – One position – US$ 30,000 to 45,000 per annum

Registrar – Grade I A: US$ 30,000 to 45,000 per annum. Preferred Maximum Age: 54 years as on 30-04-2021.

Director (Admissions & Examinations) – Grade I B: US$ 27,000 to 40,000 per annum. Preferred Maximum Age: 54 years as on 30-04-2021.

Selection Process:

All applications will be screened by a Screening committee that will shortlist candidates. Short-listed candidates will be invited for an interview. Ability to teach and communicate effectively with students will form an important component of the assessment of a candidate for a faculty position. Candidates from outside India who are unable to attend the interview may be interviewed through Skype.

Salary Benefits and Incentives:

Salary package being offered by SAU is highly attractive, compared to what teaching & non-teaching staffs are offered in Central or State Universities in India. Selected candidates who meet the minimum essential criteria of qualifications and experience will be offered a basic salary in the beginning of the pay range. Higher starting basic salary may be offered to candidates with significantly greater experience than the minimum required for the position. Salary fixation shall be as per the guidelines.

Allowances:

In addition to the basic salary the other components like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) and contribution to pension fund will be added to salary as admissible from time to time to other employees of the University. In addition, a faculty member is eligible for RRG and start-up funds as is admissible from time to time.

Annual increment: A 3% annual increment in basic salary will be provided.

Application Process Begins For UPSC Engineering Services Prelim Exam 2021

Bhubaneswar: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has rejected applications of 318 candidates for the Civil Service (Preliminary) Examination, 2021.

As per an official notification, the Commission has not received confirmation from the Bank authorities regarding receipt of Fee of Rs 100 in respect of these 318 candidates.

“Appeal against rejection, if any, may be made within 10 (Ten) days along with the documentary evidence (hard Copy in original) by speed post OR by hand only to The Under Secretary (CSP), Union Public Service Commission Examination Hall Building, Hall No.2, 4th floor, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069. Appeal against such rejection should be received in the Commission’s Office latest by 09- 04-2021,” the notification read.

On March 04 2021 (Thursday) The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) issued a notification for the Civil Service (Preliminary) Examination 2021 on its official website.

The Commission has also asked the candidates to follow these steps:

– If you have paid/deposited the fee through cash mode in the State Bank of India, please submit the system generated pay-in-slip (in original).

OR

– If you have paid the fee through debit/ credit card or through internet banking or authorized banks, please submit a copy of your debit/ credit card statement or Bank Account Statement as the case maybe. The copy of the statement should be duly authenticated by the bank authorities.

Civil Services Exam Interview Dates Announced: UPSC To Pay Airfares Of Candidates

Bhubaneswar: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the final result for the Combined Medical Service (CMS) recruitment exam 2020.

As per the official notification, the Commission has recommended a total of 179 candidates for appointment in category-1 posts and 343 for category-2 posts.

Category-I: Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Service

Category-II: (i)Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways;
(ii) Assistant Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service;
(iii) General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council and
(iv) General Duty Medical Officer Gr-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation.

A total of 179 candidates have been recommended for appointment in Category-I as under:

“The offer of appointment to the above listed provisional candidates will not be issued till the Commission verifies the original documents awaited from such candidates. The provisionality of these candidates will remain valid only for a period of six months from the date of declaration of Final result. In case the provisional candidate fails to submit the requisite
documents in original as required by the Commission within this period, his candidature will be cancelled and no further correspondence would be entertained in this regard,” UPSC notification read.

Key Information:

  • Closing date for submission of online recruitment application (ORA) website is 23:59 HRS on April 15, 2021.

– The age limit shown against all items is the normal age limit and the age is relaxable for SC/ST candidates upto 5 years and upto 3 years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them. SC/ST/OBC candidates have to produce a caste certificate in prescribed proforma./

-Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.

– No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No “fee exemption” is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.

– Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.

– Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

3479 Vacancies In Eklavya Model Residential Schools To Be Filled; Application Process From April

Bhubaneswar: The Ministry of Tribal Affairs through its autonomous body, the National Education Society for Tribal Students will fill up around 3479 vacancies of teaching staff in the Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) in the country.

As per PIB, the vacancies spread in 17 States across the country and the application for filling up the vacancies will begin from April 1, 2021.

This will result in positioning of quality human resource in the EMRSs resulting in improved educational standards in the EMRSs.

The teaching staff in four different posts of Principal, Vice Principal, PGTs and TGTs will be recruited through a centralized computer-based test followed by inter-views (excluding TGTs) to be conducted by respective States.

The recruitment process has been initiated jointly with respective States in order to meet the rising demand of teachers for the clear vacancies in already functional schools and schools going to be functional this year, calculated after excluding the posts currently filled by regular and ad-hoc/contractual staff. Modalities for the existing ad-hoc/contractual staff shall be taken at a later stage in consultation with different stake holders.

The portal for receiving the applications will open from 1.4.2021 to 30.04.2021 with the exams tentatively scheduled in 1st week of June.

The scheme of EMRS is a flagship intervention of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs to provide quality education to the tribal students in the tribal areas of the country. The scheme, in operation since 1998 underwent a major revamping in the year 2018-19 to improve the geographical outreach of the schools to every block with 50% or more ST population and 20,000 or more tribal persons with an aim to improve accessibility to the schools.

Under the revamped scheme, 452 new schools will be set up in addition to the existing 288 schools thereby taking the total number of schools to 740 in the coming years. Out of these, proposals submitted by States for opening of 100 schools have been finalised, where in construction will start soon, the PIB release added.

Mahabubabad: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, KVS has come up with a recruitment notification inviting applications from candidates to apply for PGT, TGT, PRT and several other posts.

“The Vidyalaya will be conducting interviews for preparation of panel for various posts for appointment as part-time contractual teachers for the session 2021-2022,” read official notification.

Candidates, who are eligible and interested, can prepare themselves to appear for the interview. “The post is purely on contract basis for a maximum period of one year from 1st April 2021 to 31st March 2022 or till regular incumbent joins or as per need, whichever is applicable,” it further read.

General Instructions for the Kendriya Vidyalaya Recruitment 2021

Applicants are directed to download the Bio Data form uploaded on the website of the Vidyalaya www.mahabubabad.kvs.ac.in and submit at the time of interview along with original certificates/Documents of the required qualification.

Interview is conducted for all the posts irrespective of the availability of vacancy. No TA/DA will be paid for the attending interview. The candidate must have the competency to teach in both English and Hindi.

All the original documents should be submitted for verification by the candidates at the time of the interview along with one set of photocopies. Candidates applying for more than one post, need to submit a separate application.

Non-CTET candidates may be considered subject to the availability of CTET Pass candidates for PRT and TGT.

Candidates having experience in teaching the CBSE syllabus will be preferred.

NOTE: Follow all kinds of Covid norms and SOP norms on the day of the Interview- without MASK no entry.

Civil Services Exam 2020: Govt Increases Recruitment Of IPS Officers From 150 To 200

New Delhi: The number of recruitment of Indian Police Service officers has been increased from 150 to 200 from civil services exam (CSE) 2020, Lok Sabha was informed on Wednesday.

“For IAS, as per the recommendations of the Baswan Committee and with the approval of the competent authority, 180 IAS officers are recruited through CSE each year since CSE-2012,” Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh said in a written reply.

For IPS, 150 officers have been recruited through CSE each year since CSE-2009, which has been further increased to 200 since CSE-2020, he said.

There was a vacancy of 1,510 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers in the country against their authorised strength of 6,715, as on January 1, 2020. There were 908 vacancies of IPS officer against their authorised strength of 4,982, according to the minister’s reply.

“Filling up of the vacancies is a continuous process. It is the endeavour of the central government to fill up vacant posts expeditiously,” Singh said.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts civil services examination (CSE) for filling up of vacancies on direct recruitment basis in IAS, IPS and other allied services every year, he said.

“Each cadre controlling authority intimates to the UPSC the vacancies to be filled up in the respective services through CSE every year through direct recruitment mode.

“In promotion quota too, prompt actions are being taken for holding of selection committee meetings timely for appointment by promotion of state civil service and state police service officers to IAS and IPS, respectively; as well as for appointment by selection of non-state civil service officers to IAS,” Singh said.

UPSC Civil Services (Main) Exam 2020 Results Declared, Check Details

New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results of the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2020.

The successful candidates will now have to appear for the Personality Test (Interview) for selection to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and other Central Services (Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’).

The candidates will be required to produce the original certificates in support of their claims pertaining to age, educational qualifications, community, economically weaker section, Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) and other documents such as TA Form, etc. at the time of their Personality Test (Interview).

The candidates seeking reservation/relaxation benefits available for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/Ex-servicemen must also produce original certificate(s) dated earlier than the closing date of the application of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2020 i.e. 03.03.2020.

Personality Tests (Interviews) of these candidates will be commenced shortly, which will be held in the Office of the Union Public Service Commission at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069. The e-Summon Letters of Personality Tests (Interviews) of the candidates will be made available shortly, which may be downloaded from the Commission’s Website https://www.upsc.gov.in & https://www.upsconline.in.

The marks sheets of candidates who have not qualified, will be uploaded on the Commission’s Website within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result [after conducting Personality Tests (Interview)] and will remain available on the Website for a period of 30 days.

The Civil Services (Main) Examinations were conducted by UPSC from January 8 to 17 this year.

OPSC Recruitment 2021: Odisha Civil Services Prelim Exam Date Announced

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has finally announced the date of Odisha Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination-2020.

The examination will be conducted on May 23 (Sunday) in five zones such as Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur.

The General Studies Paper I (100 objective type question with multiple choice answer) will be held from 10 am to 12 pm, the General Studies (Paper-II) (80 objective type question with multiple choice answer) will be conducted from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm.

All persons with disability (candidates) will be given 40 minutes extra in each sitting i.e. from10.00 AM to 12.40 PM and 1.30 PM to 4.10 PM.

“Admission Certificate of the concerned eligible candidates and Instructions to candidates will be made available in the OPSC website later. Recruitment In Armed Forces: Check Sports Quota, Other Details

Bhubaneswar: Joining the Armed Forces is a matter of pride and ambition of thousands of aspirants across the country. There are several criteria for recruitment under the sports quota.

 

This information was tabled in a written reply by Raksha Rajya Mantri Shripad Naik to a question asked by Shri Akhilesh Prasad Singh in Rajya Sabha on Monday, as per a PIB release.

Here’s quick look on the eligibility criteria:

Indian Army

1. Direct Entry Naib Subedar / Equivalent : The recruitment is made to the extent of 2% of vacancies occurring in rank of Naib Subedar / equivalent every year and is limited to maximum 50 vacancies every year for Indian Army.

Terms and Conditions:

Age – 16 to 24 years for Indian Army.
Physical and Medical Standards – As per Service norms.
Educational Qualifications – Minimum Matric.

Eligibility Criteria

Winner of any medal in Senior National Championship /National Games.
Winner of Gold Medal at Junior National Championship.
In case of team events, individual should be a playing member of National Team or playing member of finalist team in Senior National Championships / National Games.

CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams: Fake Exam Schedule Circulating On Social Media, Warns Board

Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday released the result for the Assistant Secretary, Assistant Secretary (IT) and Analyst (IT) posts.

The computer based tests (CBTs) for the posts of Assistant Secretary, Assistant Secretary (IT) and Analyst (IT) were conducted on January 28, 31 and January 30, respectively.

Based on the performance in CBTs and subsequent interview, the Board has published the list of candidates selected for the above mentioned posts.

As per the official notification, the Board will shortly upload CBT/interview marks on the CBSE website. The candidates may login on CBSE website to check their score.

Qualification:

The Qualification requirement for various posts of Design Trainees / Management Trainees (Technical) is as under:

– Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology or its equivalent (Full Time) (4 years after 10+2) from the Institutes / Universities recognized by appropriate statutory authorities in the Country, in the Disciplines / eligible Branches of Engineering.

Aggregate Percentage of Marks: In order to become eligible to apply for the posts of
Design Trainee / Management Trainee (Technical), candidates should have secured the
following minimum percentage of Marks, in the aggregate, of all the Semesters / Years or
corresponding CGPA Ratings / Gradations in their Engineering Degree examinations:

Candidates currently in the Final Year/ Semester of their Bachelor’s Degree in
Engineering/ Technology or its equivalent (2020-21) may also apply, provided candidates
have secured the prescribed Aggregate Percentage of Marks as indicated above, upto the
last Semester/ Year of Examination at the time of applying.

Selection of such candidates will be further subject to their obtaining minimum prescribed aggregate percentage of marks in the Final Degree. Candidates will have to submit documentary proof of having passed the qualifying examination with minimum prescribed aggregate percentage of marks at the time of Interview, tentatively scheduled to be held during May 2021.

PLACEMENT & EMOLUMENTS

-Selected candidates would be posted in any of the Production, Overhaul or Services
Divisions / Research & Design Centres / Offices, based on the requirements of the Company.
They will undergo 52 weeks of training programme, comprising of various training
modules including theoretical & on-the-job training at various places. The location
where the selected candidates will be posted will be decided before joining HAL.

-During the training period, the Trainees shall draw a Stipend comprising of Basic
Pay of Rs. 40000/-, Variable Dearness Allowance & Canteen Allowance. Besides, bachelor
accommodation is also admissible during the training period, as per the Company Rules.

-On successful completion of the training, the Trainees would be absorbed as
Engineers in the Grade-II Scale of Pay of Rs. 40,000-1,40,000/-. On absorption, the Officer
will be eligible for Basic Pay, Variable Dearness Allowance, other Perks & Allowances under
Cafeteria system, Company Accommodation / House Rent Allowance, Performance Related
Pay (variable pay), Medical Facilities, Provident Fund, Gratuity and other superannuation
benefits, etc. as per the Company Rules applicable from time to time.

SSB Odisha Lecturer Recruitment 2021: Salary Up To Rs 1.42 Lakh | Check Details

The State Selection Board (SSB) of Odisha has invited online applications from prospective candidates for filling 972 vacancies for the post of lecturer in the State universities.

The process of online application submission will begin on March 22. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the posts online on the official website- http://www.ssbodisha.nic.in/.

SSB released a recruitment advertisement inviting online applications from eligible candidates. No other mode of application submission will be accepted, clarified the advertisement.

The scale of pay is Rs 44, 900 – Rs 1, 42, 400 (as per matrix level 10) of ORSP Rules 2017 along with usual DA as admissible from time to time for the Non-Government Aided Colleges of Odisha in different subjects.

Schedule Of Application Submission:

Opening date of application submission begins of March 22.

Closing date for online application submission is April 21 (midnight).

Age Limit:

The minimum age limit for candidates in general category is 21 years while the maximum age limit is locked as 42 years. (age as on 01. 01. 2021)

However, the upper age limit is relaxable by five years for candidates coming under Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Socially and Educationally backward Classes (SEBC), women and ex-servicemen.

Similarly, the upper age limit is relaxable by ten years for candidates under PwD categories.

Age relaxation for ex-servicemen will be as per government guidelines.

Educational Qualification:

As per the advertisement, applicants should hold a Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.

However, for candidates belonging to the reserved categories, i.e. SC, ST, SEBC, PwD, the marks is relaxable by 5%, i.e. 50% marks. Holding a Master’s Degree is mandatory for aspirants in reserved categories.

Selection Procedure:

The selection for 972 vacancies for the post of lecturer in the State universities will be done on the basis of written test, career and viva-voce test. 25 marks for clearing Ph.D. or MPhil and/or NET will also be awarded to the candidates.

The post of the lecturer is on offer for various subjects. The subjects include Anthropology, Botany, Chemistry, Commerce, Economics, Education, English, Home Science, IRPM, Logic and Philosophy, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Sanskrit, Sociology, Statistics, and Zoology. NOTE: Central Government employees are not eligible to apply for these posts.

Age & Pay

The minimum and maximum age limit for the Deputy Secretary level post are 32 and 40 years respectively and the Pay will be fixed at the minimum of Pay Level-12 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC(approximate gross salary would be around Rs. 1,19,000/- including DA, Tpt Allowance& HRA in present level).

However, the Government reserves its right to place deserving appointees at an appropriate level within the scale of pay.

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has invited applications from eligible candidates for filling up posts of physical education teacher (PET) under the higher education department.

Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with CPEd pass certificate from any government approved institution can apply for the post.

The candidate must possess requisite certificate of passing HSC or ME standard in Odia as language subject to be eligible to apply for the post of PET. PWD candidates are not eligible to apply for the post of Physical Education Teacher.

Interested candidates can apply only through online mode by visiting the official website www.ossc.gov.in. The submission of online application form will begin on March 23 and continue till April 29, 2021. No Physical copy/hard copy of the online application form by the applicant need to be submitted.

The appointment will be initially on contractual basis carrying a consolidated pay of Rs 16880 per month (for 1st year) as per Odisha Group-B Posts (Contractual Appointment) Amendment Rules, 2017.

Vacancies:

Bhubaneswar: The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) invited applications from aspiring candidates to be recruited as State Tax Inspectors. Eligible candidates can apply for GPSC State Tax Inspector Recruitment 2021 on or before March 31, 2021.

GPSC Recruitment 2021:Vacancy details

State Tax Inspector-243

Pay Scale: Rs. 38090/- (Fix Pay) for 5 years. Rs. 39,900 – 1,26,600/- Pay Matrix level No. 7

Online Submission Date: From16-March-2021 to 31-March-2021

Type of Examination: Screening Test + Competitive Examination – Mains Examination Written (Descriptive)

Age: A candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 35 years as on 31/03/2021. Age will be calculated on the last date of the receipt of Narrated Original Advertisement

Education Qualification

1. A candidate shall hold a Bachelor’s degree obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government;

2. Basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967;

3. Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi. A candidate who has appeared or intends to appear or awaiting the result of the final semester/year of the required qualification can apply, but the candidate has to qualify and submit the required qualification as advertised before the last date of submitting the application for the mains examination. Also, the candidate must have completed 20 years of age on the last date of the online application.

Bhubaneswar: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has revised schedule for various recruitment examinations in the country.

As per a notification issued by SSC on Friday, the schedule of Junior Engineer (JE), Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL), stenographer grade C and D, Delhi Police sub-inspector (SI) recruitment exams has been revised.

As per reports, the Commission had earlier published tentative Calendar of Examinations to be held during the period from 01.10.2020 to 31.08.2021.

“However, in view of the Assembly Elections in some States/ UT during March-April, 2021, the following modifications have been necessitated in the schedule of various examinations,” SSC notification read.

There will be no change in the schedule of the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Examination (Paper-II), 2019 to be held on 21.03.2021.

The Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Examination, 2020 which was scheduled to be held from 22.03.2021 to 25.03.2021 has been rescheduled to 22.03.2021 to 24.03.2021.

Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub Inspectors in CISF Examination, 2019 scheduled to be held on 26.03.2021 will now be held on 08.05.2021.

The dates for Stenographers Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examinations, 2020 will be announced later. The exam was earlier scheduled to be held from 29.03.2021 to 31.03.2021.

Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2020 will now be held from- (i) 12.04.2021 to 27.04.2021; (ii) 21.05.2021 to 22.05.2021 (only for candidates who have opted for examination centres in West Bengal)

Eligibility For NCR Indian Railway Recruitment 2021

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed Class X examination or its equivalent with 50 % marks and ITI passed certificate in relevant trade from a recognized Industrial Training Institute affiliated to NCVT.

Stipend: Stipend will be paid as per the instructions issued by the Railway Board from time to time.

Application Fee: The application fee for unreserved candidates is Rs 100. The candidates under reserved category are exempted from application fee.

The Naval Materials Research Laboratory (NMRL), a premier institute under the aegis of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released a notification inviting applications from ITI Apprentice and Graduate Apprentice among others.

Education Qualification:

Important Terms & Conditions To Note:

Candidates must have registered their names at https://apprenticeshipindia.org/course-search or http://portal.mhrdnats.gov.in.

The fresh pass-out candidates (passing their respective courses in 2017, 2018, 2019) only can apply; candidates who have passed the qualifying examination earlier than 2017 are not eligible. Candidates with post-graduation are not eligible to apply.

Those who have completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are only eligible to apply.

Graduate degree holders with training or job experience for a period of one year or more after attaining the essential qualification shall NOT eligible for being engaged as an apprentice under the act.

The period of training will be 12 months commencing from the execution of the contract of Apprenticeship. Selected candidates will have to submit ‘Medical Fitness Certificate’ at the time of joining.

The selected candidates must execute a contract for a period of one year of training as per provision of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and rules framed thereunder.

It shall not be obligatory on the part of the Naval Materials Research Laboratory, where training is imparted, to offer any employment to any apprentice after completion of a period of his/her apprenticeship training.

Suppression of facts will lead to disqualification at any stage of the selection process.

NMRL reserve the right to increase/decrease the number of seats for apprenticeship training and reserves the right to withdraw/cancel the advertisement/selection process if circumstances so warrant without assigning any reason thereof.

Application Process Begins For UPSC Engineering Services Prelim Exam 2021

Bhubaneswar: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the reserve list of the Combined Medical Services Exam 2019.

As per the official notification, a total of 97 candidates have been recommended by the UPSC for recruitment.

Earlier, the result of the Combined Medical Services Examination, 2019 was declared (vide press Note dated 27.12.2019) recommending 798 candidates in order of merit for the appointment.

In accordance with Rule 13 and 14 of the Combined Medical Services Examination 2019, the Commission has also maintained a consolidated Reserve List of candidates in order of merit.

“As now sought by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, the Commission hereby recommends 97 candidates, which includes 31 General, 54 Other Backward Classes, 06 Scheduled Caste, 01 Scheduled Tribes, and 05 Economically Weaker Sections, to fill up the remaining posts based on Combined Medical Services Examination, 2019,” an official UPSC statement read.

The candidature of the following 41 candidates is provisional:

The offer of appointment to the candidates whose result has been kept provisional will not be issued till the Commission verifies the original documents awaited from such candidates.

The provisionality of these candidates will remain valid only for a period of six months from the date of declaration of Reserve List. In case the candidate fails to submit the requisite documents as required by the Commission within this period, their candidature will be canceled and no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
