According to police, Neha, a student at BVB College, was, for long, being pestered by the accused despite her outrightly rejecting his advances.

The Commissionerate Police has formed a 14-member Highly Efficient Response (HER) team to deal Road Romeos with iron hand.

The accused has been identified as Atmajyoti Nayak, a BBM student from the Airfield Police Station area. He was arrested by the special crime unit of the Commissionerate Police. 

The rescued girls were allegedly being tortured at Kalinga Associates, a private company in Baripada.
