Bhubaneswar: In a bid to provide better transaction facilities to customers, the Odisha Postal Circle has launched automated teller machine or ATM services in the twin cities.

The department opened ATM kiosks in the premises of General Post Offices in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar yesterday. An official said three such ATMs would be opened in Puri, Rourkela and Sambalpur soon.

Besides, it has set a target to launch another 39 ATMs in the State during the current financial year. The official said initially, the ATM facilities will be provided to postal savings bank account holders and later it will be extended to all commercialised bank card holders.
