Bhubaneswar: Navaratna PSU National Aluminium Company Limited (Nalco) has added another product to its portfolio with the launch of aluminium chequered sheet.

The company`s smelter at Angul has started production of chequred sheet with thickness ranging from 0.60 mm to 3.0 mm, company sources said today.

The new product has a high demand in the automobile industry, vehicle manufacturing and for industrial flooring.

The first consignment of domestic sale of the product was flagged off by Ansuman Das, Director (Commercial), they said.
