Indian, US delegates discuss bilateral trade issues
The two delegates held talks on issues related to economy, energy, trade and immigration between the two countries.
"Today's global environment provides many opportunities for our nations to partner, and it is encouraging to see what the Indian-Americans in Texas are doing to foster strong community," said Cornyn, the co-chairman and an co-founder of the Senate India Caucus.
Parvathaneni, in his statement, said with enhanced prospects for cooperation in the field of energy and in view of the US shale gas revolution, we will witness in the next few years LNG exports from US to India.
"This will have a huge significance for Indian households and the industry. We look forward to Senator Cornyn's support to realise the promising prospects in this regard for Indian and US companies," he said.
