Kozhikode: Federal Bank, the fourth largest private commercial bank in the country, would expand its footprint by adding 100 branches to its network on a single day across the country tomorrow in order to offer customer centric relationship based banking service using the latest technology enabled products, a top official of the bank said.

This would take its total branch network to 938 branches, C P Mohandas, General Manager, Federal Bank, told reporters here today. In Kerala, the bank will open 26 new branches to take the total branch network of 518, he said.

Federal bank currently has a strong network of 838 branches and a business size of almost Rs 80,000 crore, he said, adding, the bank has registered quarterly profit of Rs 202 crore as one December 31, 2011.
