New Delhi: Chanda Kochhar has stepped down from the post of MD and CEO of ICICI bank after the board of directors of the private bank on Thursday accepted the former's request to seek early retirement from the post.
According to a report by The Economic Times, the bank confirmed accepting Kochhar's resignation with immediate effect in a filing to BSE.
As per reports, Kochhar will be replaced by Sandeep Bakhshi, who is the current executive director and chief operating officer at ICICI bank.
