New Delhi: National carrier Air India's subsidiary Air India Engineering Services Ltd (AIESL) on Wednesday inked an agreement with Haveus Aerotech India to help set up an advanced engine MRO facility at Dubai's Al Maktoum International Airport.

"AIESL has vast aviation and engine experience which we will deploy to provide Haveus Aerotech India with all necessary support in terms of provision of skilled manpower and quality certification related to the facility," said AIESL CEO H.R. Jagannathan in a statement.

According to the agreement, AIESL's engineers, technical personnel and skilled manpower will provide the know-how to Haveus Aerotech India to build and operate the MRO facility.

"The MRO facility will be able to service 100 engines in a year. Haveus Aerotech India will also be responsible to coordinate project buildup, marketing, training, purchase, providing of technical services, man power sourcing and securing of requisite certifications besides whole lot of other day to day activitiesa," said Haveus Aerotech MD Anshul Bhargava in the statement.
