Youth's mutilated body found, murder suspected

Khurda: Police today recovered the mutilated body of a youth found lying near Malipada of Khurda district. The deceased was identified as Arjun Nayak of Harijan Sahi here.

According to sources, locals found the body of Arjun lying near Malipada on NH-16 following which they informed the Jankia police.

Later, Jankia police along with a scientific team reached the spot, rescued the body and began investigation into the incident.

"We suspect Arjun has been murdered. We have detained two persons suspecting their involvement and are interrogating them. The body has been sent for post mortem. We can only ascertain anything after we get the report. Further investigation is on," said a police official.
