Two students of a private school in Sundarpur area under Chandaka police limits in Bhubaneswar who had reportedly gone missing since Tuesday were traced in Titilagarh on Wednesday.
The two missing students have been identified as Prithviraj Pradhan and Sonu Kumar. The two students study in Class 8.
According to sources, the duo had gone to the school yesterday. But, when the auto-rickshaw reached the school to bring them back home, the driver of the vehicle found them missing.
Sources informed that after reaching the school, the two had come outside to buy biscuits and since then they had gone missing.
Meanwhile, the police launched an investigation into the matter following complaints from the family members of the missing students.
On being informed about the incident, a team of Chandaka police visited the school and questioned the officials. Besides, the team also examined the footage of the CCTV cameras installed near the school.
Later on Wednesday the missing students were traced in Titilagarh of Bolangir district. According to sources a police team and family members have left for Titilagarh to rescue them.
