Mutilated body of newly-wed woman found, murder suspected

Sundergarh: Police today recovered the mutilated body of a newly-wed woman from a forest in Bonai area of Sundergarh district.

The deceased, identified as a resident of Kunjar village under Gurundia police limits in the district, had reportedly married a man from the same village after falling in love with him.

Meanwhile, it is suspected that the woman was murdered and thrown in the forest as she sustained injuries marks on her face and body. After the body was traced, the brother of the deceased filed a complaint with the police station following which police has begun investigation, sources said.
