Bolangir: In a bizarre incident, a man allegedly killed his own wife by smashing stone on her head over a family feud in Tikiripada of Bolangir town on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Jayashree Sahu.
The incident occurred early morning when a quarrel ensued between the couple following which the husband Srinibas Sahu allegedly attacked Jayashree with a stone.
Getting information, police reached the spot and rushed Jayashree to the hospital where the doctors declared her brought dead.
Meanwhile, the husband has been detained and interrogated at the police station, sources said.
