Prateek Pattanaik
Prateek Pattanaik is a Bhubaneswar-based physics student. He researches into mythology, music, culture, sculpture and literature of Odisha. His work primarily consists of using technology to preserve culture and empower language. He digitally documents critically endangered performing arts, inaccessible books and palm leaf manuscripts, contributes to the Odia Wikipedia and is one of the founding members of The O Foundation. Apart from this, he handles a popular Twitter account (@shrijagannatha) through which he writes on Jagannatha culture. Achievements : Prateek has worked with several researchers, including Dr. Devdutt Pattanaik and Professor John Emigh. Recently, he was congratulated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for his documentation work of the dying Prahallada Nataka of Ganjam. Many others, including MP Baijayant Panda, Tanaya Patnaik and the entire Odia Twitter community have recognized his efforts from time to time.
