Sources said the incident occurred while the villagers were returning home after watching a dance festival organised on the occasion of Dola Purnima.
According to sources, the three deceased were going on a motorbike when they lost balance on their two-wheeler and rammed into a truck.
“I can’t even imagine how much the hospital will charge when they fix her brain. We are waiting for her to stabilize a bit to do further operations, she already had two cardiac arrests,” informed her friend Remyaa.
All the injured have been admitted to Kundura community health center (CHC). The critical will be shifted to Jeypore or Koraput after preliminary treatment at the CHC.

As per reports, the bus was en route to Bhadrak from Sambalpur when it collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction on National Highway 53.
A woman died and eight others were injured after the school bus they were travelling in met with an accident at Mantriamba ghat under Baipariguda Police limits in Koraput district on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the driver of the bus has been detained and further investigation is being carried out by police in connection with the accident.

A six-year-old girl was killed and her father suffered critical injuries after a tractor knocked down their bike at Nidhibani Square under Bhogarai Police limits of Balasore district on Saturday.
As per reports, Sarbeswar was going on his bike. The car in which the Sundargarh MP was travelling from Bhubaneswar to Rourkela allegedly hit the bike from the rear at Rekula Chhak. Sarbeswar was critically injured. The piloting vehicle of the MP rescued the injured and immediately rushed him to the Kamakhyanagar hospital where he was pronounced dead.
