President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and other leaders on Friday extended greetings to people on the auspicious occasion of Holi.
Detailing the initiatives, the Prime Minister also apprised the President that four senior Cabinet Ministers are departing to the neighbouring countries Poland, Hungary Slovakia and Romania as his 'Special Envoy' to oversee the evacuation mission.
Puri Visit Of President Kovind In Lensman’s View
President Ram Nath Kovind today (Feb 20) inaugurated the 150th birth anniversary celebration of Srila Prabhupada - the founder of Gaudiya Mission at the holy city of Puri. The President along with first lady Savita Kovind and other family members visited Puri Jagannath Temple on the first day of his two-day trip to pay obeisance to the Holy Trinity.

Puri Superintendent of Police, Kanwar Vishal Singh today said that a spot briefing of the police personnel has been done. All the security arrangements have been done as per the protocols.

President Ram Nath Kovind has given his nod to the Appropriation (No 5) Act 2021 that authorises payment and appropriation of Rs 3.73 lakh crore from the Consolidated Fund of India for the services of the financial year 2021-22.
The Vice President pointed out that Sardar Patel played a remarkable role in galvanising the nation against British rule, accomplished the humongous task of peaceful integration of over 560 princely states and laid the foundation of strong administration in the country by establishing the civil services.
