Every year, lakhs of pilgrims from across the country visit the holy cave of Amarnath via Pahalgam and Baltal Sonamarg. Pandemic restrictions were lifted this year after a two-year hiatus, so large congregation was once again witnessed for the yatra. And horse owners (pony walas) benefit greatly during the Amarnath yatra.
