NCERT said that a few unscrupulous publishers are printing NCERT school textbooks which are available on the NCERT website, under their own name without obtaining permission from NCERT.
A high-level committee for social sciences, constituted by the NCERT to revise the school curriculum, has unanimously recommended that "India" should be replaced with "Bharat" in the school textbooks for all classes.
According to committee chairperson C I Isaac, the panel has suggested replacing the name "India" with "Bharat" in the textbooks, introducing "classical history" instead of "ancient history" in the curriculum and including the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) in the syllabus for all subjects.
As per NCERT, it is completely an online course, primarily aimed for teachers dealing with Science at the middle stage in schools.
As per the NCERT advertisement, all the posts will be filled on contract basis.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has also dropped from the course content chapters on 'democracy and diversity'.
