According to sources, Raha suffered huge loss after his 60 packets of paddy got damaged due to rain and he had to sold them at a very cheap price to miller last year. Like previous year this year too, he suffered loss as his crops got damaged due to rains and pest attack.

As per the NCRB data, 2 742 people committed suicide in 2018 for being jobless and the figure rose to 2851 in 2019 and in 2020 the figure was 3548. Similarly, due to loan burden or after being bankrupted, 4970 people killed self in 2018, the toll reached 5908 in 2019 and 5213 in 2020.
