The computer-based written test for the KV recruitment was held from February 21 to 28, 2023

The candidates who are not satisfied with the answer key(s) may submit their challenge by March 10.

The revised examination schedule has been made available to candidates on the official website of KVS at kvsangathan.nic.in.

The overall Budget Allocation for School Education in FY 2023-24 is Rs 68,804.85 crore out of which Scheme allocation is Rs 54,374.48 crore and Non- Scheme allocation is Rs 14,430.37 crore.

Candidates can make corrections in all fields (except application number, mobile number and email id) in already successfully submitted online application form.

As per the revised deadline, eligible candidates can now submit online applications for the advertised posts till January 2, 2023.

The online application process which started on December 12 is going to end on December 26, 2022.

The maximum vacant teaching positions are in Tamil Nadu (1,162), Madhya Pradesh (1,066) and Karantaka (1,006).

Pradhan also informed a whooping Rs 3 lakh crore will be spent in the coming four years under Samagrika Siksha Yojana to enhance quality education in India and Odisha as well. 

In the plea moved through Advocates Ashok Agarwal and Kumar Utkarsh, the petitioner alleged that the admission criteria of KVS is arbitrary, discriminatory, unjust, unreasonable, violative of the fundamental right to education of petitioner as guaranteed to her under Articles 14, 21 and 21-A of the Constitution of India read with the provisions of the Delhi School Education Act, 1973 and the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009.

Delhi government counsel said that it has no role to play in the decision taken for the Kendriya Vidyalayas and in Delhi government schools, the age criteria for admission to class 1 is 5-6 years.
