Choose dark-coloured bottoms as they give a slimming effect. Florals and bold colours will give your legs a wider appearance. Hence, opt for dark hues such as black or navy for a slim look.
Wear wide-leg or mom jeans instead of skinny fits or bootcuts. Bottoms like straight-cut trousers, boyfriend jeans, and joggers, as well as palazzos, are comfortable, flatter your figure, and hide the fat thighs. The jeans must be elastic.
Wear printed tops rather than solid colours. Crop tops with a deep V or U neckline and loose T-shirts or shirts look fantastic and will highlight your lean upper body. Also, opt for vertical stripes over horizontal ones, as they will make you appear taller.
Statement sleeves work best to enhance your upper half by balancing out the proportions. Choosing tops with cold shoulders, off-shoulders, or puffy sleeves can balance out the proportion.
Try these styling solutions to hide thick thighs!

Bottoms
Try to go for the upper waist lowers, which can be achieved by wearing jeans, trousers, coach, shorts, skirts, or anything that starts from the waistline. These also provide length to your general structure. Bootleg jeans and trousers look wonderful on thin ladies because they add shape and dimension to the body.
Jeans Style
If you adore denim, you should avoid skinny jeans and instead opt for other fits such as flared high-waisted denim, cropped or full-length wide-leg denim jeans, boyfriend jeans, and high-raised denim jeans. Try wearing more high-waisted denim to add more curves to your figure.
A-line or waist-fitting dresses
You can certainly experiment with a range of A-line or waist-fitted gowns. You can even accent them with a belt to define your waist. To add weight to your general appearance, use medium-length A-line or waist-fitted gowns.
Accessories
Apart from clothing, accessories are a significant element of our fashion. When worn with a flowy dress or top, thick or slender belts draw attention to your tiny waist. Chunky scarves and shawls complement those with narrow and lengthy necks. When worn with a round neckline, statement necklaces, such as a large beaded one, can create a fuller look. Wear multiple wooden or metal bangles or opt for a chunky bracelet to add curves.
Keep these Top fashion tips in mind. Hope you now understand how to dress if you are thin.
Instead of aiming to have all the colours in your wardrobe go for the colours that look good on you.Choosing a single, foundation colour for your clothing is a wonderful place to start.
The beauty of minimalist clothing is the fact that many of this season's pieces can be worn over and over again without batting an eyelid. You can dress your winter jacket with a dress, or pair it with loose jeans and trainers for a laid-back feel. You'll be wearing these pieces many times, so make sure you're looking for quality pieces that can be worn for more than one season.
When putting together a minimalist winter look, you need staples that are easy to put together. Winter pieces are great value for money and can be worn in so many different ways that you can enjoy a variety of looks.
Invest in a decent pair of blister-free socks and a pair of touch-friendly hand gloves to enable you to shoot selfies while exploring the winterlands. Good quality woollens do not wear out in one season, so add one new type to your cap collection and go crazy with colourful beanies.
Minimalism is a state of mind, and it shows in your choice of winter outfit to flaunt that stunning but elegant style. Minimalism should be practised not just in purchasing selections, but also in remembering that you may accomplish a lot without purchasing new stuff every season.

Here are the five accessories that can elevate your style quotient:
1. Chronographs: Watches are the most fundamental accessory that a man can wear to flaunt. But the question lies in what kind of watch a man should wear to add weight to his personality.
Smartwatches are undoubtedly very productive and informative in the day to day to application, but are they worth it? The answerable will be a big no!
No matter how expensive a smartwatch you wear it still gives your hand that cheap, plastic-like appearance.
In this case, a chronograph comes handy. A shuttle classy-looking chronograph can be a great addition to your wardrobe giving you a winning edge over boyish smartwatches. Men are always expected to look mature and classy, with a hint of agelessness.
2. A pair of club-masters: Eyes are one of the most attractive parts of the human body, and can aid in the communication process as well. But, what about while being outdoors? Well, apart from UV exposure, eyes are also exposed to multiple other vulnerabilities such as dust, smoke, and pollution. So, it becomes highly essential to protect them from these harmful exposures.
Well, when it comes to protections why not do it in style? A shabby pair of glasses can downgrade your looks, ruining the overall look of your face. Most men make this common mistake of wearing sunglasses which doesn’t go well with their facial features.
In this case, a decent pair of club masters can rescue you from all sorts of judgements, these unique shades of glasses not only go with all types of face shapes but can be also paired with all kinds of attires from formals to casuals.
3. A slick leather wallet: Wallets are something that people take the least care of as it destined for rugged uses, but do you know wallets also add-on a considerable edge to your personality.
Beefy wallets can give a bulging appearance to your pockets, ruining the overall look of your jeans, chinos, or formal pants you wear. In another situation, have ever thought about how it looks when you pull out a funky and bulky wallet in front of others, especially that special one while paying at a restaurant, or a public place? It’s Awkward, right?
Here slick classy leather/faux leather for vegans, can add more elegance to your look, and make you appear more impressive.
4. Tie-pins, and cufflinks: Yes, it’s never outdated. If you are someone who is into the corporate world or loves wearing formals featuring a remarkably stylish tie then you must consider investing on these tiny ornaments which can boost your looks to a whole different next level. Tie-pins not only hold your tie at its desired place but also add a charming elegance to your overall look. A tie-pin may not be extremely ornamental always, it can be simple and non-flashy and made out of cast iron or black metal.
5. Shoe-horn: A very least known accessory in the least but can be extremely productive for those who love pairing a decent pair of shoes with their handsome outfits.
Shoe horns also known as shoespooner, shoe spoon, shoe schlipp is an accessory that aids in the maintenance of shoes. It helps in stretching the back portion of shoes for smooth passage of heels without smashing or deforming them. Especially, it is extremely important for those men who use formal shoes on regular bases and are afraid of wrinkling their expensive leather foot wears.

Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt, too, offered us some great looks in 2021, whether she was attending a friend's wedding or a dinner date.
Ananya Panday
In terms of fashion, Ananya Panday had an experimental year. The diva had her fair share of hits and misses throughout the year, but she managed to win hearts with ensembles that complimented her sporty image.

Kumar Guru Mishra's latest collection 'Chitraa Assemblage' and website were also unveiled on the occasion in presence of Ollywood actor Archita Sahu.
The collection was inspired from the age-old art of Odisha - 'Pattachitra' and was presented in a unique way to the audience. The collection was specifically crafted keeping in mind the changing tastes of people.
There is no dearth of talent in Odisha and if we want we can achieve great heights. Belonging to the land of Lord Jagannath, I believe fashion comes naturally to us. I had the dream to design couture since childhood and I have always wanted to showcase my collections. This event marks my beginning in the industry of fashion and I have attempted to create something different using the age-old art 'Pattachitra' for the first time ever and hope people love it. The new concept introduced at the ramp was loved by one and all and that was really overwhelming.
--- Kumar Guru Mishra
“I am overwhelmed with the fact that I came to see such beautiful talents of Odisha under one-roof today. These people are the torch-bearers of the society and provided the right guidance and support they can do wonders for Odisha. Dr. Mishra has proved there is nothing a man can’t do. If a person truly wants, he can achieve all the success in his life," said Jagi Mangat Panda, director and co-founder of Odisha Television Limited.
Kumar Guru Mishra has been selected for the Pre-Finale show at Bangalore Fashion Week 10th Anniversary and Grand Finale at Bhubaneswar Style Week to be held in September along with India Runway Week, Season 11, New Delhi. He is the first Odia designer to do a premium solo show at Bangalore Fashion Week and also the first Odia to present his couture at India Runway Week, New Delhi. Ollywood actress Archita Sahu will be his showstopper at Bangalore Fashion Week to be held on August 4.
Speaking on the occasion Archita said, “The day I saw his collections I fell in love with all of it. Being a doctor, doing this stuff, I was amazed and wondered how he manages to do all this so brilliantly. I am going to be his showstopper at Bangalore Fashion Week and his collections for that show are just beautiful. I am really excited about the show. I wish him all the best in his future endeavours and hope he keeps on creating such beautiful couture.”

This event brought together most Odisha-based models under one roof to express their solidarity and association with the brand. Padmalya Nanda, Little Miss Universe 2017 and Maitri Monali Pradhan, Miss Teen International Most Talented were also seen setting the ramp on fire.
The brand was jointly launched by Chairman, Falcon Marine Exports-Tara Ranjan Patnaik and director and co-founder of Odisha Television Limited Jagi Mangat Panda.
The 'Spotlight' theme-based fashion show series will provide a proper platform to aspiring and young models and designers.
"It was a great experience. I walked the ramp for the first time and the organisers groomed us really well. They were very helpful to us," said model Raman Ratan Rout.
There were two rounds in the fashion show in its first edition. In the first round young models displayed Odissi handloom while the second round was all about the concept of peace. The fashion show promoted peace through its three elements of Yoga, Love & Compassion and Spirituality.
The entire show was choreographed by John and his team 'Addiction' while upcoming designer Biswat Sen designed the glamorous outfits. Many first-timers walked the ramp.
"It was really an amazing experience for me to watch the newcomers setting the ramp on fire. This is something which is really new. World wants peace and through this event fashion was coordinated with peace," said Miss India Odisha 2017 Christeena Biju.
"We wanted to convey a social message that would reach people. We also wanted to give a platform to new talents in modeling and designing. This is the first of the series through which we tried to talk about peace with three elements yoga, love &compassion and spirituality," said Dikhya Tiwari, consulting director of Staarmakers.

I am really excited for this and waiting for people’s expression like ‘Wow, Beautiful!’ when they see my collections on the ramp. I am going to display the collections of “Pattachitra” styled dresses with Peacock’s feather designs. I have been working on this Pattachitra work for the last six years.
If people use this Pattachitra art in their dresses and give this art more importance and use it in their festivals then the artists in Raghurajpur and some in Bhubaneswar will get a good source of income.
I think Odisha’s craft will gain popularity if Pattachitra styled dresses will be displayed abroad. I remember one incident in Mumbai wherewhen it was announced that I am from Bhubaneswar, Odisha, people were shocked. Although few people know about Pattachitra in the world of fashion, still it hasn’t got that popularity as compared to other folk styles like Kutchi Bharat styled dresses from Gujarat which is now an expensive item. People outside India are also using this in Navratri and other festivals. In Bollywood movies also Kutchi Bharat work is used. I want the same importance for Pattachitra as well.
I started this fashion studio in BBSR in 2007. My father also had cloth business in Kolkata. We used to give importance to fashion since childhood. This studio completed 10 years on Vishwakarma Puja.
There was a Bhubaneswar Style Week where I got very good response. Last year I went to Jaipur for Beti Bachao show. This is the first time I am going out of India. But before that I have done a lot of fashion shows in India.

It's rampant in the fashion world, say Indian male models, admitting that in many cases people "compromise" to get work as emerging models seek "instant success".
Model Kawaljit Singh Anand's open accusation aimed at designer Vijay Arora opened up the #MeToo discussion about harassment that male models face.
Kabir Duhan Singh, now a popular actor in the southern film industry and who is soon going to make his Bollywood debut, says nobody can touch anyone without permission.
He said during his time, he did not get work for almost a year because he was not open to socialise with designers at their places.
"I think it is on us how we present ourselves in front of others. I used to see models getting drunk with designers and dancing with them with their hands going everywhere. So, if you are giving them such liberty, they will take advantage of it, and the same goes for Bollywood," Kabir told IANS over phone from Mauritius.
He says one has to create a boundary. "The current crop in the modelling industry is very open and they want to achieve success in a short period," he added.
Born and brought up in Faridabad, Kabir moved to Mumbai in 2011 and took up modelling as a career. His acting career started with Telugu film "Jil", which won him positive reviews.
He says focussing on work and having faith in your talent would give you work. "Be professional. Don't give them (designers) liberty. I think models are pressurised and they get scared that saying 'no' will take away work," he said.
Amit Ranjan, another established name in the industry, now has a production house by the name of A.R. Productions that organises fashion events. He says he always knew about how the fashion industry works even before he entered it in 2007.
"I think in the fashion industry, male models are exploited a lot because they get less money compared to female models. They are moulded by designers who groom them. They function on the concept of 'I will take care of you, if you take care of me'. That's why nobody takes anyone's name because it is mutual," Amit told IANS.
"There are many leading designers," he said, "who get messages from boys who are ready to do everything. So obviously, the other person will take advantage of that. These boys seek instant success so I won't blame one party," Amit said, adding that he wanted to tell the boys that they should believe in themselves, be honest and follow their dreams.
He also said that such models should not use the raging #MeToo movement for publicity.
Designer Varija Bajaj says that she has been sitting back and observing everything that is happening. "Yes, it does exist in the fashion industry and it is not just about men against women, but also about men against men, especially in designing fraternity, and women against women," she told IANS.
She said it has been going on and has been accepted also because people think 'Yeh toh hota rehta hai, why make a big deal about it?'.
"I think the way this movement (#MeToo) has come forward, I really applaud all the people who have come forward so that at least when next time somebody thinks of doing it, he or she will think ten times and that's a very big change. It takes a lot of courage to talk about it." Varija said.
Senior designer Manish Malhotra declined to comment.
Model Bharat Sharma said that no Fashion institute or fashion pageant teaches a budding person, be it male or female, about how to deal with situation where sexual favours are demanded by big names or celebrities. "Male models come in the bottom of the food chain of client-designer-choreographer-backstage crew-makeup artists and stylists -- with one exception: If you are some designer's boyfriend then you are special," he told IANS.
He said that for a male fashion model, career-building becomes more and more difficult once he says NO. A straight male model is treated like a liability in fashion circuit. Fashion industry is very small where people know each other's way of working and preferences. He said some genuine people who work fairly and know how to give respect helped him survive in the industry.
Designer Samant Chauhan says models should always carefully chose whom they are contacting and where they are going for casting. If they go through an agency, they should know what kind of people they are meeting.
"I get many calls that they (models) want to meet me. I tell them to send pictures. Maybe I can keep or I can connect them to people whom I know. There is no requirement to come and meet. I simply ignore when someone wants to meet to handover the portfolio. So it's not that only designers are taking advantage," Chauhan told IANS.
He said the whole idea of the #MeToo movement is to encourage people to talk about it.
Model Karan Sharma, who started his modelling career with a fashion gala in 2010 in Delhi, says the city is the hub of sexual exploitation "because most of the designers think they are Gods."
"(The models feel), it's big shame for them if they don't get work. I want to say that you don't need to go to designers or party with them. If you are good, you will get work. I was very sure that I have to do this and I have to do it the right way," Karan told IANS over phone from Mumbai.
On his career front, he has recently recently wrapped up a web series called "The Reunion", and is also working on a Broadway theatre debut "The Mahabharat", directed by Puneet Issar.
Inder Bajwa, an established model who has now moved to his hometown in Punjab and is working with sportspersons, says every industry works on the same lines, and everyone suffers. "Some fight against it and some mould themselves, accordingly. Nobody can escape. I would say be patient and go slow," Bajwa told IANS.
Known for his eclectic, quirky and eccentric fashion style, Ranveer said he gained "confidence and started being true to himself, his sensibilities and aesthetics" after the first few years of his career.
Asked if he puts extra efforts when it comes to fashion, the 32-year-old actor told IANS in an e-mail interview: "No, I've actually had a little bit of a journey when it comes to style and fashion.
"I've always been attracted to edgy avant-garde style. Growing up, in school and college I have always been open to experimenting, matching outfits with my haircuts.
"I became an actor and in my first few years, not knowing how to deal with the limelight, I was trying to conform to what I perceived to be the expectations of the public.
"Something like how an upcoming leading man should turn out to be."
Early in his career, he used to make very "straight and safe" choices which were against his grain, Ranveer said.
"I think in my third or fourth year I started gaining confidence through validation of my acting. As a result, I started being true to myself, my sensibilities, my aesthetics and my choices.
"I believe style is an expression," said the actor, who endorses eyewear label Carrera.
"It was then, I really stopped filtering my expression and started doing what I really felt like doing and not fearing being judged.
"Once I started being original, being true to what I felt I guess that got recognised widely -- my distinctive style. But honestly that is just me being me," he added.
On the acting front, Ranveer is currently busy filming "Simmba", directed by Rohit Shetty. The film also features actor Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara.
The device allows users to monitor their fitness parameters and set personal fitness goals that include activity tracking -- such as steps, distance, calories, sleep, and heart rate sensor.
"This is an exciting moment for Myntra as we foray into the connected wearable segment with our first product 'Blink Go' which is a perfect blend of fashion and technology to help our customers keep track of their goals and stay fit," Jeyendran Venugopal, Chief Technology Officer, Myntra, said in a statement.
The "Sleep Goals and Tools" lets users set a weekly sleep goal, create bedtime reminders and wake targets.
"Leaderboards" feature allow users to challenge themselves and their friends on fitness tasks and goals.
"I have always believed that fitness and fashion are not destinations, but fun-filled journeys. They are, to me, a way of living, and as such I want my active-wear to reflect my personality and complement my lifestyle," Jacqueline said in a statement.
"Launching Just F, a feminine take on fitness from my perspective, is a big moment for me. I am confident that the brand will meet and exceed the expectations of young women across India, who want to fulfil their fitness requirements without breaking the bank or compromising on style," she added.
Jacqueline has collaborated with Mojostar, which is founded by Anirban Blah and Jiggy George, for Just F -- a female-only fitness and fashion brand.
"Active-wear trends in India are still heavily dominated by the needs of male consumers. Brands in this space still have a primary share from male consumers, leaving gaps in the offering for young Indian women. "When I was younger, I never saw a long-term plan. I am not from the film community; my career has always been full of risky choices and I took decisions off the paved path. My greatest risk was me not knowing that I was taking a risk," Priyanka told Forbes magazine in an interview.
Priyanka, 35, who played the negative role of Sonia Roy in "Aitraaz" in 2004, says she got scared when people asked her to opt out of the project.
"While shooting for the movie, people warned me that it was a wrong career move and that I would get stuck with vamp-type roles. It scared me like hell," she recalled.
Something similar happened when Priyanka was approached for 2008 film "Fashion".
"I was told that girls did women-centric roles only towards the end of their careers to win awards. I was advised to work with big stars and do Hollywood tent-pole type movies," Priyanka said.
"I was afraid that I took a wrong decision again, but the fact is that I did not know any better."
Priyanka received a National Film Award for her role of Meghna Mathur in "Fashion".

Dev Anand was the first to showcase a gender-fluid style, that too in the ’60s. In Guide he challenged all the existing norms with his big floral prints and buttoned up turtle-neck shirts. Whether it was wearing scarves or bright coloured shades of pinks and reds- all of which were previously common with women only, he bridged the gap between male and female fashion. The late actor made wearing scarves fashionable for men, after his look for the Jewel Thief was copied by masses.

At- Home Puja Makeup
“Even if we are at home, we can project the festive vibes by just making ourselves a bit more presentable. For me, my go to make-up for a home selfie would be a concealer, a lipstick and eyebrows. I always like to keep the eyebrows on point as it will neatly put together the whole look. Concealer to hide your dark circles and any lip shade would do the job, but I prefer going for a nude shade.
