In the last 24 hours, 15 new fatalities were reported, all in the worst-hit Sindh province, reports Xinhua news agency citing the NDMA as saying.
The victims included a child and three women.
The heavy monsoon rain-triggered flash floods since mid-June have also destroyed a total of 1,979,485 houses, while an estimated 973,632 livestock has perished in the rains across the country, according to the latest NDMA figures.
It further added that 12,716 km of roads and 374 bridges were damaged.
Rescue and relief operations by the NDMA, other government organisations, volunteers and NGOs were underway in the affected areas.
The accumulated water has seeped into the excavated areas, loosening the soil and resultantly tilting the walls. This site, among the primary surviving bastions of the Indus Valley Civilization as it dates back to 2,500 B.C., is one of the last remaining connections Pakistan has with prehistory, Dawn reported.
The Mound of the Dead, one of Mohenjo-Daro's most iconic features, is covered in blue tarpaulin.
Meanwhile, the death toll in Pakistan's catastrophic flooding has increased to 1,162 as the cash-strapped country struggles to rescue and care for millions of people displaced by the surging waters.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said the victims included 384 children and 231 women, and the death toll is expected to further increase in the coming days, dpa news agency reported on Wednesday.
More than 33 million people in some 116 of Pakistan's 160 administrative districts have been affected by the floods triggered by incessant monsoon rain since mid-Jine, with at least 72 districts being declared disaster areas.
Hundreds of thousands of people are currently living without food, clean water, shelter and basic basic medicines. The floods inundated over 2 million acres of agricultural land, destroying crops of cotton, rice, dates, tomato, chilli and other vegetables.
The torrential rain that have left most of Sindh inundated have not spared these ruins either, and workers scramble to reinforce the retaining wall of the mound as water seeps down into the unexcavated parts of the site, carving channels as it goes, Dawn reported.
While the government and welfare organisations battle to provide relief and rehabilitate the hundreds of thousands left homeless by the savage monsoon downpours, heritage and archaeological sites across the province are also in dire need of repair.
Reports emanating from various parts of the province paint a pretty bleak picture; the very forts, tombs which symbolise the glorious past of the region are now in danger of crumbling, Dawn reported.
Apart from that, the Buddhist stupa at Thul Mir Rukan has fallen victim to the inclement weather as its drum has been broken. The floods have not spared the famous Makli monuments in Thatta and Banbhore either, both internationally renowned archeological sites.
However, the death toll in the Mundka inferno may further increase as search operation teams have found more charred remains from the second floor of the ill-fated four-storey building.
"The death toll may likely go up," Delhi Fire Service chief Atul Garg told IANS on Saturday.
The top fire department official also shared a picture of the remains that were found just minutes ago by the NDRF team present at the scene of the blaze that erupted on Friday.
The bodies that were recovered fare yet to be identified and the help of forensic teams will be utilised for the purpose.
The reason being most of the bodies were burnt to such an extent that, even it was difficult to establish whether charred remains were of a man or a woman.
As per reports, Minister Prafulla Samal, MP Kulamani Samal and MLA Debashish Samantaray had to face public wrath during their visit to Hasina village along with district collector to provide the ex gratia amount and Rs 10,000 assistance from the Red Cross Fund.
However, the villagers opposed the visit of the elected representative and demanded that the compensation amount should be increased to Rs 10 lakh.
Sources said some families of the victims even did not take the compensation.
Earlier, the villagers had staged a road blockade yesterday demanding a hike in the compensation amount and the district administration officials had assured to look into the demands. They alleged that the people's representatives hurriedly visited the village and distributed Rs 4 lakh compensation as declared by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik following the mishap on January 2.
Meanwhile, body of the six-year-old girl, who was missing after the boat mishap, was recovered by the ODRAF team today.
Earlier, bodies of nine persons were fished out from Mahanadi river mouth near Nipania on Wednesday night. All the victims were residents of Hasina village in Jagatsinghpur district.
Official sources said, the last rites of the deceased persons will be conducted after post mortem and other formalities.
The landslide occurred at Barghar in the hilly Raygada block where some villagers had taken shelter in a cave following very heavy rain trigged by Cyclone Titli on Thursday evening.
The toll could increase further as three others are feared trapped under the debris. Some houses and other structures were also damaged in the landslide.

Reportedly, a review meeting is scheduled to be held today at the circuit house in Paralakhemundi under the chairmanship of Labour minister Sushant Singh.
District administration officials on the other hand claimed that steps are being taken to carry out relief and rescue operations in the region.
"This is the worst devastation faced by people in Gajapati district. As per the instructions of the CM, steps are being taken by the district administration to bring restore normalcy in the district," said Gopalpur MLA Pradeep Panigrahi.
Official sources said already work for restoration of emergency services including electricity supply is being taken up on a war footing as nearly 1 lakh 20 thousand people have been cut-off from the rest of the world following the cyclone and flash floods.
“The chairman of the block and executive engineer of RWSS had requested the people of the affected village to shift to safer place a day prior to the cyclone. 68 families were shifted to safer places whereas the rest seven families refused to move. As per the preliminary report, those seven families were affected in the unfortunate incident,” said Special Relief Commissioner Bishnupada Sethi,

It raced from the Conejo Valley to the Pacific Ocean, across Highway 101 and the Santa Monica mountains, at speeds that impressed veteran fire officials.
Saturday brought a break in the fierce winds that have whipped the three major wildfires but officials said the gusts will be back on Sunday and most evacuation orders remain in place.
Another round of Santa Ana winds was forecast to whip the area on Sunday through Tuesday, though it may be weaker than Friday's, CNN said.
Fire officials estimate the number of people forced from their homes statewide is more than 300,000; in Los Angeles County it is 170,000.

Public broadcaster NHK reported that according to the police and local authorities in Hokkaido, 660 people were injured in the quake.
The earthquake also caused landslides that buried dozens of houses and at least 70 buildings were destroyed. Around 2,600 people remained in temporary shelters on Sunday.
