According to sources, simultaneous searches are being conducted in Cuttack, Jatani, Bhubaneswar, Jagatsingpur and Salipur by teams of the anti-corruption agency led by three DSPs, 11 Inspectors, two sub inspectors, five sub inspectors and other staff.

According to sources, simultaneous raids were carried out at six places linked to Pani including his house and office.

Vigilance department sleuths on Friday recovered cash and other properties following raids on the residence of Danardan Sahu, Physical Education Teacher (PET) at Sri Dibyasimha Bidyapitha at Jayantipur under Jarada police limits of Ganjam district.

As per initial reports, 28 plots including 7 plots in prime area of Bhubaneswar and 21 plots in prime area of Dhenkanal have been unearthed.

Simultaneous searches are being conducted on the house and properties of Anadi Charan Sethi, Civil Supply Officer attached to State Headquarters. 

Subsequent to his arrest, Das was forwarded to the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack. 

The pronouncement of then quantum of punishment was delivered by Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court which was reserved on Thursday, after the submissions of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The cash was recovered from the house of the sister of Kalpana Pradhan, second wife of Roul, in Salia Sahi area in Bhubaneswar. With, the total cash seized from Roul and his family members goes to a record Rs 3,41,66,280.
