Covid or no-Covid era, millenium city Cuttack never leaves any stone unturned to make Durga Puja festival an occasion of pure glitter. It is here that the popular adage, all that glitters is not gold (and silver), literally is proved wrong. The city dazzles with gold and silver filigree works every year at the puja pandals and is well-known across the country for its royal celebrations. As devotees are set to bid adieu to Maa Durga, take a virtual tour of the pandals to catch a glimpse of the deity for one last time before the final ritual of idol immersion.

A team of Malgodown Police arrested the two members of the College Square Puja Committee named Sarat Kumar Behera and Rakesh Kumar Behera for forcing a businessman to pay Rs 13000 as donation for the forthcoming Durga Puja.

"The government should take the decision considering the religious sentiments of people. Relaxing the COVID restrictions will not lead to the unprecedented spread of the pandemic.
