The family of deceased has alleged that the police threatened them when they sought to know how their father died. Police also reportedly cremated the man's body without even informing them.

Santoor maestro Pandit Shivkumar Sharma was cremated with full state honours, comprising Mumbai Police gun salute, at the Vile Parle Hindu crematorium, here on Wednesday evening with Bollywood turning out in force to bid him a tearful adieu.

In an order, the district office (emergency section) allowed all including the non-residents of Puri district to cremate their loved ones at Swargadwar adhering to all prevailing COVID norms.

A large number of people had gathered outside the Oshiwara Crematorium in Mumbai when the mortal remains of actor Sidharth Shukla were consigned to flames today. The family members and friends of the late actor were present at the crematorium to pay their last respects to the departed soul.
